Retroactive Pay should be coming on our June 30th pay warrants. Remember, you do not get paid on the last day of school any longer (unless of course your last day of school IS June 30th!).
State Budget: We will be in need of people to call on for action this summer to get information to our legislators. Please email me at mathgirl70@earthlink.net if you would like a “Summer Warrior” form to send in to CTA. I sent it out to those home email addresses I already had.
Your NEA delegates, Alyson Brauning, Nancy Hiestand, Dean Vogel and I, are looking forward to representing you in Washington DC over the 4th of July. In the NEA magazine, you will see resolutions and possibly some new business items. Send feedback to me (at the above email address) and I will be happy to inform your 4 representatives of your feedback.
Someone you know interesting in running for the school board in November 2009? Have them email me personally.
Exec Board/Action Team/Site Reps are invited to the planning meeting this August (one day during the week of 8/11-8/15... date and location TBA). Let me know if you are interesting in attending.
