• First and foremost, I was able to spend valuable time with other educators discussing education as a whole and having some fellowship time!  I attended some wonderful sessions but one in particular had make and takes that I can immediately use in my classroom.

• I am particularly excited about the session that I attended regarding the IFT grants awarded by CTA. We learned how one CTE teacher took her 2 grants, each for nearly $20,000, and created an amazing program around floral design including opening the school’s own floral shop. I have been thinking almost non-stop about how I could potentially use grant money to improve and enrich my own school site and the lives of my students.

Thank you so much for everything! I had a wonderful time and, most importantly, learned a huge amount.
