In the words of Gandhi, “If we are to reach real peace in the world, we shall have to begin with children.” Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on September 21. The United Nations General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. First established in 1981, you can celebrate the 2017 Day of Peace by participating in any number of these suggested activities .
