We will be taking nominations for the next term (2013-2015) VTA officer and director positions at the April 9th Rep Council meeting for the following positions.

President

Vice President

Treasurer

Recording Secretary

Corresponding Secretary

VHS/CHS/Elm Director

WCW/BCS Director

Vaca Pena Director

Jepson Director

Elementary/ESC Director (5) positions

If you are interested in running for any of these positions, please arrange for someone to nominate you, come and nominate yourself, or send a letter with your Site Rep to the meeting on April 9th. The meeting will be held at Chevy’s in Vacaville at 3:30. Below is the link to the VTA By Laws. Article VIII and IX have descriptions of the positions.

The election for the next term VTA officers and directors and for State Council Representative will be held April 11th-18th. Please see your Site Rep during that window to cast your vote!

Pacific Valley Charter Academy Public Hearing is tomorrow.

I just wanted to let you know there will be a public hearing at tomorrow night’s School Board meeting on the request from Pacific Valley Charter Academy for VUSD to sponsor the Heritage Peak Vacaville Learning Center and approve the charter petition they have submitted to the District.

This is an opportunity to come and learn more or share comments or questions you may have about this. The meeting is in the Board Room of the ESC at 401 Nut Tree Rd. in Vacaville and begins at 7:00 P.M. – Moira
