Be sure to lock your classrooms if you’re not there!

Dear Colleagues,

Please be aware there are people going around to schools pretending to be parents. They are looking for open classrooms where they go through purses or drawers looking for cash or credit cards. Please tell your staffs to lock their rooms when they are not there and protect their belongings at all times. This is real. We had a credit card stolen at one of our elementary schools during parent conferences.

Note about the General Meeting from President Todd

Hey VTA members,

We’re going to have a general meeting to go over all the Tentative Agreement items including the final salary agreement before we vote on the new contract.

It’ll be on Wednesday, Dec 4th in the Will C Wood theatre at 4PM.  The bargaining team will be there to take questions and we’ll talk about all the pending contract language and money.
