Dangerous Drowsy Driving
Are you often sleepy driving to or from work? Did you know that studies show one sleepless night can result in someone being too impaired to drive? Overtired drivers cause almost 100,000 crashes each year.
Educators, who work extremely long days and often late into the night, are not immune.
November 3-10 is Drowsy Driving Prevention Week.
Drivers having difficulty focusing, persistently yawning, unable to their keep eyes open or startled after hitting a rumble strip should pull over and get a short period of rest.
Protect yourself and others around you. Find more information about the danger of drowsy driving here.
Stay alert when you’re driving, and make sure you are protected in case you “accidentally” meet a drowsy driver on the roads; contact a California Casualty advisor to update your auto insurance at 1-800-800-9410 or visit www.calcas.com/CTA.
